Abstract Submission Guidelines || XVIIIth HISICON

Abstracts have to be submitted ONLINE ONLY & in English	An informative abstract of not more than 300 words that can be understood without reference to the text should be submitted
Abstract submission closes on 30th December, 2024	Abstracts SHOULD NOT contain references, tables and/or figures
Abstracts must be original and should not have been published/ submitted/ presented elsewhere	All submissions should have Arial bold “12” for headings and Arial “11” for text. Use single line spacing throughout the text

It should indicate the scientific content of the abstract. A brief title, author name (s) preferred degree(s) (one only) and affiliation (s)
The name of the presenting author should be in bold and underlined. Do not use abbreviations in the title of abstract

Introduction/ Background: This should include a brief rationale of the study and end with the aim/ objectives
Methods: This should include a description of the study design, population, intervention & outcomes
Results: Present the results in logical sequence. Results should be clear, concise and in detail, documenting the main findings
Conclusion: Mention the single most significant aspect of the study and how it has fulfilled your main aim

Our electronic submission system will ask you to copy and paste the abstract at the "Submit" stage	An abstract number will be allotted to each submission which has to be quoted in all further correspondence
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of experts and an email regarding acceptance will be sent to the submitting author before 5th January, 2025	All abstract related queries, may be sent to hisiconscientific@gmail.com
